Picnic Day is an event held every year on the UC Davis campus during the month of April and is the largest student-run event in the US. Picnic Day starts off with a parade that the California Aggie Marching Band-Uh starts and ends the event with. The Marching Band parade runs through the campus and all over Davis and ends with the Battle of the Bands which will last until the last band stops playing!

There are over 100 free events and over 60,000 people attend the Picnic Day event every year. Of course we can't forget about the Dachshund races, (also known as the Doxie Derby)l, the Davis Rock Challenge, the sheep dog trials, and much more! And of course, last but certainly not least ... the GREAT food!!
